The novels are written by a former call girl. In the first book, the main character, Nancy, has a fiance who knows nothing of her being a call girl.
Her confidante, Ben is Nancy's best friend and ex-boyfriend from her university days. She also has a madame and two call girl friends who complicate her life. She is trying hard to keep her two personas and two lives from colliding. In the second book, Quan continues the story of Nancy Chan, now married and still working she has kept her apartment for meeting her Johns.
